If you read the post I was replying to, the criticism of Aeroflot was "old planes", which I stated was not true, and gave a bit of info that US airlines have on average the oldest planes in the developed world. Point is that the age of the planes are not a large factor as they can be retrofitted, maintenance is a more crucial issue, and other factors are at stake besides the age of the planes.
