Howdy...I'm thinking about a trip east from California to visit Cooperstown and also take in maybe Niagra Falls and other parts of New England. I do see it's a "ways" from Cooperstown to Niagra Falls and that Cooperstown is actually quite a bit closer to other parts of New England. I currently have a cousin near Hartford I could probably stay with.
So...
1. I can do this trip in Sept or Oct. If I were gone for maybe a week or 10 days...how should I do this trip?
2. If I were to combine the trip with some fall colors touring, would Sept work or would Oct. be better...
3. Any suggestons for an intinerary? I know there's a lot of variables here, but hopefully this will kick it off....
Bottom line... I really wanna see Cooperstown and my cousin lives in Connecticut and can probably stay with them...but don't have to. As long as I'm seeing Cooperstown, might as well see more over, say, a 7-10 day period.
