If you even know how many...then you haven't traveled enough.
BS, I know someone who has been to over a 100 countries and he keeps an accurate count. I myself have traveled more than virtually all of the people I have met in my life and i've been to 52 countries exactly.
You may not get a good idea of how much people travel in this forum as it tends to attracted travel focused people here but in the general population most people have not traveled much at all. The "well traveled" person has been to perhaps 10 or 11 countries in their lifetime.

I seriously could not tell you...maybe 50, maybe 70. I would have to set down with a pad of paper, then add to it over a course of days..."oh yeah, forgot, I was there as well". Some countries don't exist anymore, some countries were visited as just cruise port stops or airport transfer stops - should those be counted? Heck in Europe sometimes I have difficulty telling where one country stops and another one starts. Maybe the difference is I am a business traveler, it's all routine.
But for most people, yeah, it's not many and it's easy to figure out...so have fun answering and comparing. This is a common topic that pops up periodically so on the first page I linked to similar threads.
