It probably does, all of the cards that Bank of American has been issuing recently has this feature and you should get without having to request it

I, too, am very surprised that a cc company wouldn't grant a request for a lower credit limit. Seems odd to me, although I've never made such a request. I just assumed that would be easy peasy. (Never assume! )
