Hi everyone,

My husband, daughter and I will be driving from WA (Tacoma) to MI (Almont) in August. Not concerned about weather, but we will be driving his truck and pulling a 35' travel trailer behind.

The truck alone would be able to make the trek on I-90 fine, but with the trailer behind driving uphill is a bit of a battle.

We were thinking the best route would be to drive down to Portland and take I-84 to I-80, but I would like some opinions of alternate routes.

We would love to take I-90 most of the way, but I believe there would be too much uphill driving.

Thanks
