Hello

I am a 28 year old woman. I am from a country without much nightlife. There is no party or fashion scene.

I will be in the US for job reasons. I will be in a small town but I will have the chance to travel.

I would like to have some fun; enjoy the nightlife; do the things I normally cannot do.
I am reading about locations. On my list so far Miami Beach, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, but I am not sure.

There are many things I do not know. Fashion? Flirting without sending the wrong signals (I am not interested in meeting someone).

Could you guide me to a good place on the internet to ask these questions and maybe find people who are willing to answer more specific questions.

Thank you in advance for your help,

A.

You've got a good list there. I'd add Chicago. I was there this past Saturday night and it was really hopping!

There are different types of nightlife and some cities are better suited for certain things. But you mentioned "party" and "fashion" which to me suggests upscale and major events. In that case you have the entire list right there in your first post. Those four cities are THE four cities for that. A number of other good options as well but they can't be argued into that same tier.

Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for your replies.

What about Fashion and Flirting -- what would be a good place to ask questions about that?

There is a fashion forum on here. I think probably a dating one as well, which could offer suggestions on flirting.

go to Vegas, no reason for someone with a bottled-up need to let loose a little bit go anywhere else as you will be among thousands of others with the same idea in mind. Plus, you get to see what the real America is all about.

Just keep in mind travel can be expensive when crossing all over the country.

What general part of the US will you be staying in? How long?

Those were my thoughts too. If you're coming from overseas, the US may be bigger than you realize and it will really depend on the amount of time and money you have available.
