I thought that London was my biggest disappointment. The food that I received on the STL-GTW on TWA First Class exceeded anything that I had while in London where I was served my LEAST favorite dish - overcooked canned peas.
London has lots of very good restaurants, although like most cities it's best to do some research. Their are restaurants relating to every type of conceivable culture in London and we do not eat overcooked canned peas.

I wouldn't trust the palate/restaurant choices of anyone who can write off a whole city's culinary offerings as bad/gross/disgusting, much less an entire country.
my place is new orlean, well just outside nawlins in the low land, as long as you dont know what it is, the food great, but if you have to ask, it will make you sick.

1) When I have several hundred to blow on a meal, I will take your recommendations.
2) If I want to eat Cajun and Creole food, why in God's name would I go to London, UK when I can get far more authentic and better prepared foods in the six parishes that make up Acadiana in Louisiana? It makes NO SENSE to me.
Since I don't like dairy or garlic and my husband doesn't like tomatos/aubergine/olives, and neither of us much care for pork, Italy is probably the worst country for us, culinary-wise. (If you exclude foreign restaurants, which I mainly patronised while there...ate a lot of involtini primavera there lol).
