Southwest is my favorite. They treat customers well and I like their whole vibe. If your plans change, you can reschedule your flights with no change fees (although you do have to pay any fare difference, if there is one). Also, they allow you to check 2 bags for free, plus bring on a carry on for free. This is huge today where almost every other airline charges for baggage. I use Southwest whenever I can because I like how they operate.

British Airways

I think I'm a fan of almost anything British.

JAL -- once my flight was delayed because the plane couldn't arrive in time from Japan due to weather, JAL treated us to a suite in JW Marriott Resort, offered $25 cash each for meals, and the next morning sent us to airport by tour bus.

KAL -- upgraded us to Business Class without any additional mileage. The flight attendant greeted me by taking my jacket and hanged it. The meal was five-course. The only complaint is that after I lied down 180 degree in the cubicle, the monitor was too far away.

My favorite is Qatar Airways and Delta Airlines. They never fail me not even once. They have the great service or should I say excellent service among others although a bit pricey too.

I dislike all domestic carriers. Worst is Delta

Love KLM and Qantas. Especially Qantas. They really try and make you comfortable and if do not have a vegetarian option for the internal short flights ( who serves this in USA) they say sorry genuinely and bring loads of vegetarian side options like cookies, drinks etc. If they flow within USA ( I know it is not possible) they would be my first choice for any flight.

Domestic: My favorite is Alaska Airlines, I may be a little bias because I live in Seattle but there service is so much better than most US carriers and fares are fairly cheap (I'm also MVP and get upgrades pretty regularly). Hawaiian is a close second.

International: Just flew Cathay Pacific and they were wonderful, granted it was in First Class but the service was flawless and I really enjoyed my flight. I also like Turkish Air and Garuda and Etihad was also pretty good. Still have to fly Emirates, Qatar, and British Airways, I have heard great things about those.
