I need to get to my local airport tomorrow at 6:00 am. I'm going on vacation for over a week and don't want to pay well over $100 for a park and fly service. I live maybe 10-15 miles from the airport and am thinking of taking an uber. I've only ever taken them home late at night so I don't know how reliable they are at other times of the day. Can I rely on this service to be able to provide a driver for me around 5:30 in the morning?
It really depends where you live. In bigger cities it's not a problem. I'd guess since you are near the airport you're in a populated enough. It probably would have been a good idea to see what the availability was that time of day last Saturday.
Is there a cab company you can call if Uber doesn't pan out?

Or airport shuttle? I've used them and they are often cheaper than a cab.

I've done it. Hard to say that there will definitely be drivers on the road when you go to request one, but if uber operates in your area at all then there's certainly a chance it'll be just fine. You might just find yourself waiting a little longer for the ride than you would otherwise, if you've only ever gotten rides at night when more drivers are out.
Yes, indeed! Clearly, I hadn't bothered to note the time of the OP's before I chose to chime in
