If your family likes beaches then Florida has tons of them that are top of the line family beach fun. You can take a day trip to Disney or other parks if you stay in the mid gulf area.
Also, we have spent 20+ years in a row vacationing in Myrtle Beach, its known as Americas family beach and there is so much to do you cannot get it all in one week. Beaches, food, shopping, putt putt, rides, water parks, shows and the list goes on and on. No beach in America has what MB can offer you. Also the new Hard Rock Park is being built.
If you want to plan a MB trip PM me and I can help you with the right hotels that are clean, reasonable and the up keep is done. For your little ones there is tons of things to do.
If you like the mountains then I suggest you head to Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg for a great vacation too. You can stay on the strip or rent a log cabin in the hills. Take a drive up into the Smokies for some very cool sights.
If you like beaches and laid back relaxing then I suggest Outer Banks of North Carolina or Hilton Head. But with those little ones I would go for MB or Ana Maria Island or one of the other gulf side beaches so you can take a day trip over to Disney or Busch etc.
Disneys Cruise is suppose to be a blast also, get to go to the Disney owned Island. Friends of ours said it was one of the best vacations they have ever taken and they have kids about your age.
Can anyone recommend a good family vacation. I'm looking for a beach, or Caribbean vacation. Kids are 8 & 10.
