I'd choose Boston/Providence or Seattle. Personally, I have no interest in St. Louis, I'd choose somewhere on the coast over the midwest. Boston is great. And as stated by others, lots of history and things to learn there. Never been to Seattle, but I'd love to. It looks like a pretty amazing city. Lots of things to do, cross into Canada (if you can). Technically not on the coast, but easily accessible.

I'd go for Boston. TONS of stuff to do. The aquarium there is one of my absolute favorites.

I've driven in Boston a couple of times, and while it is somewhat confusing, it's not too bad if you're not trying to make specific deadlines and you just sit back, breathe, and remember that there's no need to rush.
Providence is a beautiful city too, not as much to do, but there are certainly a bunch of historic things to see.

I've been to St Louis once, and it was only a 'eh' for me. The arch seems to be the big draw, along with some historic stuff along the river.

Never been to Seattle though.

Obviously Boston. Seattle is nice too, but is not comparable to Boston. Boston is in the company of SF, NYC, and Chicago.

Went to Boston/Providence last week for the first time, I used to live by St. Louis (and went there a lot) and last year vacationed around Seattle. My vote is:

Seattle, hands down!
