My favorite cities there were York and Bath, but the one place I will absolutely never forget for as long as I live was Fingal's Cave on the island of Staffa in the Inner Hebrides off the Coast of Scotland. There are literally no words to describe it.

Dubrovnik was such a surprise for me. I'd heard of it, but really didn't know what to expect. It was such a beautiful city!

Glad you enjoyed your road trip around my country. There is a lot to see for sure. You're right about York. My eldest son lives there, and it is a great place.

The best place I've visited would be the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I've lived in California and been to most of the United States (except for Alaska). I've visited Mexico. I've been to Paris, France. I've visited (and lived in) Sydney, Australia. I've been to New Zealand. I've also visited Maui and Kauai. I'd say that Oahu is the still the best place I've visited (and lived).

Here are a few:

1. Munich, Germany. Both the city and the area around it are terrific to visit.

2. Sydney and the east coast of Australia.

3. The south island of New Zealand. Most spectacular natural beauty in the world.

4. Bath, England. The old Roman ruins are simply amazing.

5. Ireland. I was particularly drawn to the Purple Cliffs of Mohr, County Antrim, and Galway.

6. Maui, Hawaii. The trip on the Hana Highway is scary, but one of the most beautiful you can take.

I could go on, but I think six is enough for my favorite
