Hey everyone,

I volunteered to pay for a friend's flight to and from Managua. She doesn't have a credit card, so someone had to do this regardless.

I found an appropriate flight for her, with several connections, purchased it, entered her personal details, and assumed the itinerary would be emailed to her.

The issue is, I only know when the initial flight departs. She waited a long time to tell me she hadn't gotten the email from the booking website (it was something like Kayak, not an actual airline's website) and I cannot remember where I purchased the flight from at this point.

I guess her email was entered incorrectly or she misplaced the email unknowingly.

I checked my credit card statement, and the charge is COPA. I'm going to try to contact them and see if they can help me with the itinerary info.

Any other suggestions. I feel so foolish for not personally recording this info down on top of the email, so please no guilt trips today.

Thanks for your help!

Perhaps your friend should call COPA and with her name and first flight information that you have, they can give her the rest of her itinerary.

Yeah, I just did this. I thought it was going to be way more of a wild goose chase than it turned out to be. Case closed. Thanks!

Copa is the name of United's partner airline in Central America.

Go back into your browser's history and you should be able to find the website that you used to make the purchase.
