Have you ever been in the women's room near the Southwest gates (terminal B) at La Guardia? Definitely not cleaned regularly and definitely not odor-free.
I am truly impressed that on this board we even have experts for airport bathrooms, lol.
If you're referring to my post, I'm in the Facilities Management career field. (Not that it's related, I have a degree in Aviation Management). So, yeah, I'm an expert.
I travel every week and have been to tons of airports. However, no bathroom in airports ever smell, even though there are consistently 5+ people farting and pooping at any given second
What's the secret?
The airlines just keep it all on the planes I guess.
I don't want to "rest" in the mens room at the airport or elsewhere. So we need to call it for what it is................. mens / womens toilet room.
I agree.
Rather than the euphemisms that we tend to use in The US, it would be much more...honest...if we simply used the European term of "toilet room". WC is also a bit of a euphemism, but I prefer that term to either "restroom" (where nobody actually rests), or "bathroom" (where--hopefully--nobody takes a bath).

LOL they don't have entrance/exit doors and they are open at both ends, allowing air flow.
