If I go next week to Copenhagen I will be traveling solo. I would love to find a few of the Giants. Does not seem to be a simple task without a car. I would love to stick to Public Transportation, not sure it will work. I am 61 years old, pretty adventurous.
I don't know Denmark well but those giants can be found on Google Maps. The distance from #6 on the west part of that map is to #1 is only about 5 miles, all in an relatively urban part of the country. I can't imagine would be very difficult with public transportation, two feet, or a rented bicycle.

I just have to up my confidence that I can handle finding at least a couple of them!
We were in Copenhagen this past July for 3 days, pre Norway fjord cruise and 2 days post cruise. Beautiful city and area.
The Giants crossed our mind, but there was far too many other things to do/see for us, so we passed.
Train trans is cake, as is bike rental, et al in metro area...Bring a CC or two with some 'headroom' as nothing is inexpensive in CPH, though CCs work everywhere for everything.
If you go, (whether you see The Giants or not), I highly recommend a halfish day Segway ride/tour: easy to learn, and you will see and learn more about parts of the city than a walking or tour bus or bicycle tour would see in a few days.
Take the '2 hr tour': ours was more like 3 hrs, and the guide was remarkably informative. Helmets have ear speakers to hear his info.

Thanks for the travel tips!
