I am planning to visit Universal Orlando with my wife from Dec 18 to Dec 19.

I have been seriously considering staying on an expensive universal resort(300+) that comes with unlimited express passes. One night stay would effectively allow us to have express passes for two days, according to my research.

However, I can't handle any thrill ride, which means she will have to do many rides alone.

I just learned that there are single rider lines in Universal Orlando for free! If most popular rides have single rider lines, and those lines are nearly as fast as express pass lines, I could potentially save some money.

Any catch?

Thanks
