Do you agree with this list? Any tips on navigating to reduce the stress in some airports? Lounges, short routes to terminals etc.
LaGuardia is the worst, with nearly 5 percent of its flights canceled this year. Washington’s Reagan National Airport ranked eighth, with a cancellation rate of nearly 4 percent.
The rankings were put together by InsureMyTrip.com. The travel insurance company used data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics to analyze the flight cancellation rates at different airports to see which are most likely to cause holiday stress.

Thanks for the link, KayAnn I have had the fun of "enjoying" the delays at both of the above airports.
Obviously, arriving with plenty of time helps. I will read the article later. Thanks.
So Atlanta is not on the list despite its well known summer thunderstorm ground stop issues. I guess it's because Delta has a tendency to merely technically delay a flight until next Tuesday rather than cancel it entirely.

LGA doesn’t need the help of Holidays to top the list.
It’s THE MOST stressful airport regardless!
Sometimes they have 2, yes only 2 TSA agents to process the line of around 500 travelers. This line stretches from the counter, to all the way outside on the street.

This list is specifically about airports travel challenges during the Christmas and New Years Day holiday season, so summer issues are not relevant to it.
I have not read the article yet. Can someone please list the airports in the article? Thanks.
I think I can link to the image in it. The southernmost airport on the list is Charlotte. The westernmost airport is O'Hare in Chicago. Most listed airports are in the snowiest parts of the US.
