Just looked at https://www.greyhound.com/en/ecommerce/schedule re Memphis to Hollywood FL. "Economy" ticket for this week ranged from $218 to $309. EconomyExtra & Flexible class were more. And that is One-Way, RT would be approx double.
Only Flexible is refundable. Others can, for $20 fee, be re-scheduled prior to original travel date .

Holy cow! I had no idea bus travel was that expensive. It would be cheaper to fly, at this rate. If you're a non-flyer, take the train. Probably costs the same, and is more comfortable than a bus.

I plugged in a trip from Memphis, TN to Fort Lauderdale, FL (nearby Hollywood does not have a Greyhound station) for a midweek trip just over 2 weeks out. The one-way fare was $144. You'd have to transfer twice, and the entire trip would take a little over 24 hours.
What details would you like? This woman is 67 years old and likes the Greyhound trips on a bus over any other way too travel. She going by herself and it's also a round trip and only 9 days stay.
Thanks for all the help.
