Do you have a DUI conviction or just an arrest? No problem if it was plea bargained down to something like careless driving or negligent operation.
Plea bargained to misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
I discussed the travel plans with a family member. He's thinking Denver. Keep in mind I have spent quite a bit of time in Boston and Maine, but most of that has been 3-4 day weekends, and have never been further west than Nebraska. I've never been able to make a game at Fenway, go to Acadia, etc.
I can get a flight from TYS to DEN for about $220 - three hours. Take the Friday night flight after work, get to Denver by 9:30 MST, call it a day and start fresh Saturday morning.
I could also do a short CLT to BOS nonstop. I really don't want to be driving 3-4 hours just to get to another airport. Knoxville's airport is about an hour and a half away. Charlotte is 3.5 best case.
At this point, I'm kind of leaning toward New England or Denver. There is a roundtrip, nonstop flight from Knoxville to Denver that takes about three hours for about $200 before any fees/taxes from Frontier. I'm also into baseball, and there are multiple Rockies games that week.
If you fly into Denver, then I'm suggesting Colorado Springs about an hour & a half south. Cool Old Towne, craft beer everywhere, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods. Hang out at the Broadmoor (lovely grounds) and spend some hours relaxing by the lake with a book and a beer (or feed your head) for a relaxing day if you can't/don't want to spend for a room.
