Also worried now because I’m being told their are tropical storms in the gulf. We are flying to Savannah GA and also going to Hilton Head.
Think about how many thousands of planes there are at any given time of day, literally in every corner of the world. If you spend two hours of one day in one airport that will account for like, .0001 percent of flights that take off and land without incident just in THAT ONE DAY.
You're going to die some day. The chance of it being in a commercial air crash is slim to none.
Global Entry comes with TSA Precheck as one of its benefits. So it does speed up getting through the security screen. (Not that it matters, as I am sure the OP has no idea what Global Entry, TSA Precheck, or Clear are - nor should he need to, as an infrequent flyer.)
