Another thing to help with your anxiety is to make sure that you have your time occupied, be sure to download enough content so that you are continuously engaged throughout the process. It looks like your flight is two hours so that is easy enough to fill.

Think about how many thousands of planes there are at any given time of day, literally in every corner of the world. If you spend two hours of one day in one airport that will account for like, .0001 percent of flights that take off and land without incident just in THAT ONE DAY.

You're going to die some day. The chance of it being in a commercial air crash is slim to none.

You should be more worried about the weather affecting you time on the ground than the flights.

Currently there are no tropical storms in the Gulf, not even a tropical depression. Don't believe everything you hear.
