... was on my bucket list. Sadly, I didn't made it on time. Now it's too late..

https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/...lights-to-cuba

Cruise ships and group tours have been banned from visiting Cuba as of Wednesday, per new regulations from the Trump administration.
It seems that the only way to travel legally to Cuba is under "support for the Cuban people" program.

I think you can still go thru the Canada or Mexico route. Those agencies who put together those trips will start up again.

AND eventually, the ban will be lifted.

It is most definitely not too late.

First, vote for leaders who aren't dictators. I don't support politicians that restrict our freedom of travel.

But, what can you do in the interim? You can travel in Support of the Cuban people, which is really what you should be doing anyway. Stay at a Casa Particular, save your receipt for the Airbnb, collect a few business cards in the tourist area that offer, for instance, dance lessons. You don't have to take one. Cuban people aren't giving you receipts anyway. Just keep the card they gave you.

If you want to avoid any questioning, simply take a one-way ticket to Cancun and then purchase a one-way ticket to Havana separately.

Go! It's a tremendous city, a tremendous country, and don't let some snot-nosed, silver-spooned failed businessman dictate your life.

you may have to look in to it as far as restrictions for US citizens being in cuba ....the same restrictions likely apply as far as why you are going .

americans are no allowed to do all the things that other nationals can do like go to the beaches or clubbing ...when we were there , the treasury levied a 10k fine if you got caught .... don't think cuban customs wont go through your pictures looking for stuff you should not do and threaten to turn you in to the treasury here unless you pay them off
