- New York City: the Center of the Universe. So much to do and see. Lots of live events every night of the week.
- San Francisco: Great walking city, nice weather, beautiful views, lots of opportunities for excursions. (Full disclosure: I live there)
- Utah: Not sure if it is cheating to pick a whole state, but Utah has incredible scenery, and the food is surprisingly nice in many of the small towns.
- New Orleans: Food, music, and a great sense of place.
- Bishop, CA and the other small towns along HWY 395: Great scenery and hiking.
New York. I make 2-3 theater trips a year.
Grand Canyon and Sedona (particularly the drive between the two)
Northern Michigan (Mullet Lake, for sentimental reasons)
Orlando, FL (yes, I love Disney. Roll your eyes, I don't care! LOL)
OBX, NC
California Coast - San Francisco, Big Sur, and San Diego. Love 'em all.
Oahu, Hawaii - super gorgeous and the people are wonderful.
San Antonio, Texas - love the architecture, food and history.
Arizona - weeklong trip to Sedona and Grand Canyon is an all time favorite.
Finger Lakes region of NY - beautiful waterfalls and lakes. Ithaca is gorges, as they say.
Utah, to see the hoodoos & Natural Arches. I have been to most of the other areas already listed, except Texas, I woudl also like to visit there, & New Mexico. Then the Carolinas.
