By the way regular gas at Sunoco - $3.79 to-day in Bergen County, New Jersey
That's what I thought as well. I fear filling up at those no-name gas stations, like Delta, National, etc. I wonder if anyone like Myth Busters has done any testing on this. I know there have been plenty of tests regarding octane level.

Cool, that's "cheap" (for today, I guess) gas. I need premium and it's about $4.(teens)/gal. for me. : \

I noticed that diesel is $4.85..anyone know how many miles to the gallon they get for a semi? no wonder the price of everything is up up up!
Diesel was way into the $5/gal. range when I was in CA last week, close to 5-and-a-quarter. From what a friend who used to drive trucks told me, a loaded 18-wheeler gets 6-8 MPG.

I wouldn't worry about filling at an off name gas station. As long as they have enough customers to keep that tank of fuel rotated and not setting there for long periods of time.

I have a friend who is a gas hauler. He hauls to most of the stations here in town. He gets a 10,000 tanker trailer from a place up in Montana. Same gas every time from the refinery. He hauls down to town here and then fills two or 3 stations. He has a couple cases of canisters in his cab. Depending on which station, he dumps in a canister or part of a canister (depending how much they're going to take) of this additive and then fills that station. Next station takes a different canister, or maybe a different amount and he fills that station.

Point is, the same gas is going into every station. Just different additives. He even mentioned that some of the stations take no additives. The additives added at the refinery are enough. It's just some companies brag about thier additives are better then others.

So no, I don't care what the station name is, as long as they have a volume of customers to keep the fuel fresh.

You are so funny.....LOL.
I wish, we would move from the "cent" savings (per gallon) into the dollar amounts....huh.
I still need to take out a loan, in order to fill up my car....LOL......

I paid $3.81 today, I was pleasantly surprised. I had expected to pay more after what I have been reading.
