I buy 93 octane premium, but noticed 87 octane regular sells for $3.859/gal. at a local gas station. When I was in CA last week, regular was in the $4.30-something per gal. and diesel was a buck more!

Does gas brand (e.g. Shell vs. Costco vs. Texaco vs. Exxon vs. etc.) matter? I've never heard a good answer one way or another.

no offense, but BILD is not a real newspaper. It's more like a gossip-newspaper. try "Die Zeit", "Frankfurter Allgemeine" etc

you might wanna check out BILDblog | Kritische Notizen über eine große deutsche Boulevardzeitung if you really like the BILD a lot

It does not matter in my opinion and from my experience.
I would not use gas from any off stations (in Jersey Delta) only Shell, Sunoco, Gulf, BP,
Texaco or Exxon. I don't know about Costco never used.
By the way regular gas at Sunoco - $3.79 to-day in Bergen County, New Jersey
