New Years Eve in NYC in 2004 for 5 days. Had booked a room facing the ball in the Marriott Marquis. Everything was about $7K

When we took our 5 year old to Disney World. I wanted it to be really special for him, since he's at the age where he still believes in the characters and the magic. We stayed 7 nights at the Animal Kingdom lodge, and with hopper tickets, character meals, loads and loads of toys/collectibles,air, car rental we spent around 10k
