I-75 needs 3 lanes from Findlay to Troy.

At the least, they could finish turning US 131 into a four lane limited access road once you get north of Cadillac. (And do the same south of Constantine so it connects up with the Indiana toll road too) AFAIK, the limited access parts of US 131 in Michigan are built to Interstate spec, and there's a short stretch through Grand Rapids between I-96 and I-196 that's unsigned now but has been known as I-296 in the past.

I would like to see flood protection for I-680/I-29. When it floods, trucks and people who work in Omaha/Councils Bluffs have to go through Blair and HWY 75/133 to Omaha.

DFW Texas to Tulsa interstate is needed for the truck traffic that is huge on US69 in Oklahoma. The US highway from Dallas to the Oklahoma border along this route is nearly full on Interstate design but once you get in Oklahoma its a mess.

We need new interstates for truck volume routes driven by smaller loads of ship to home vs ship to retain stores. Also I am not convinced a lot of interstates are needed for new population patterns but Houston to Austin comes to mind as a very unsafe heavily traveled hot mess.

There has been for a few decades talk of making US 23, which is mostly a divided highway an interstate through Ohio.

Perhaps it would save some time if interstate speed limits.

Oklahoma needs to complete upgrades to US-75/69 to extend I-45 to Tulsa. It's all at least 4 lanes now, but needs to be limited access with loops around a few towns.

Oklahoma now is finishing the loop around Durant, adding an exit to get through Preston and in the next few years will add an exit to get rid of the stop light in Glenpool. It would take a lot more work like these projects, but it can be done.

The hard areas will be Okmulgee, McAlester and Atoka.
