I’ve had Bose QC 20 wired in-ear since 2013. I had Bose over the ear noise canceling headphones before that. I’d really prefer Bluetooth wireless ear buds but I don’t like the short battery life. Mine last the duration of an Asia flight.

Chalk me up as another vote for the Bose QC 25 (if you can find one); besides outstanding noise-reduction capability (whether or not you're using them to listen to audio, or just to block the ambient noise), the MOST important feature they have is being powered by a readily available AAA battery.

All of those other headphones with built-in batteries - how useful will they be once their internal battery inevitably dies with age and won't hold a charge?
