When you go on vacation are you the type that fills your day going to attractions and doing things or are you the type that goes on vacation to relax and not do much at all?

If you haven't gone on vacation in a long time, tell your boss off and GO! Everybody needs vacation.

I'm one to fill our days with attractions and seeing the sights!

We center our vacations around an activity such as kayaking, skiing, rock climbing, etc. The rest of our time is relaxing in the pool, going to dinner or taking a walk in the town/city to see some sights. We sleep as often as possible!

We are going on vacation here in just a few hours!
No extra activities planned...just to enjoy the quiet wilderness, hot tub, and the wine!

people groan when i say lets go on vacation--lol
i fill the day so much with attractions and sight seeing that we are all exhausted every day of it. then a couple of months after the vacay, they all laugh at how much fun we had. and then the cycle begins again.

I prefer to go on vacation to someone's house......free lodging, a cook (if I don't want to try the local restaurants), maid service, and usually a tour guide/chauffer. I'm not an adventurous person. So I prefer that someone else shuttle me to and from sites/places of interest. When I go on vacation, I much prefer to spend time with friends/family who live in my destination city rather than to go explore new territories. Plus I'm not a fan of hotel living. That being said, I'm not a moocher. I will contribute financially or with labor so as not to impose on the homeowner.

We won't fill the day with attractions, but will take in one here and there. For the most part, relax and come and go as we please. This is why we aren't fond of travel and tour groups. I don't want to be on a fixed schedule for a vacation. We have enough of that during the workweek and at at home.

I am 100% the attractions type. Typically when I go on vacation I am busier than I am at home! I stay out late and am up at th crack of dawn. I usually need a few days with naps after my "vacation." LOL

Almost all my travels involve animals, birds, trees, green growing things, mountains, lakes, and other natural beauty. Only occasionally a "sight" to "see".

I always plan my adventures so that most of the time I roam, wander, meander, mosey and dawdle -- and often just stand still and be. AUM...

I usually have a itinerary filled with things to do and see. I'll relax when I get back home for it is nothing here to see
