What kind of idiot ambulance chaser books an international flight with his geriatric mother, leaves a short window for a connection on Xmas eve, and then racks up 21K of bills that he thinks the airline owes him...

Article makes it sound like the fool got to BA 3 days later than planned, and was able to pick up his luggage the day after he arrived. Big deal.
