I have a lot of DURACELL alkaline AA batteries and would like to use them at a foreign destination during my upcoming trip. What is the maximum number of such batteries that I'm allowed to bring on a plane? In checked luggage or in a carry-on bag?
Related questions - At check-in, airlines employees put passengers' checked luggage on a conveyor belt without screening. What if there are prohibited items in the checked luggage?
What if later at security checkpoint, a passenger learns that some items (e.g., wine) in his/her carry-on bag should be transferred to checked luggage (that is somewhere else)?
Thank you! It seems that there is no limit of the number of AA Alkaline batteries (in a carry-on bag).
