From Atlanta to Pittsburgh, July 3, 1982 (age 12) - the only flight I took before smoking was outlawed on domestic flights. Guess where my seat was?

Welll.. I ran away from home @ 17 with my boyfriend to San Juan, Puerto Rico from JFK. Yeah, pretty bad, huh. I was a TAD rebellious- I did let my parents know I was ok though. Almost 14 years later and bf and I are still together, actually.

Seriousness aside, in hindsight, I still think about how he could have asked the cus svc agent for a window seat since it was my 1st time flying, as opposed to the center seats on the 747 we were on...

My kids started early, each being around 6 mo old. I'm thinking that both of their 1st flights were to Puerto Rico as well.

I had to wait until I was 23 for my first flight. Tragically it was on a work trip to the Al Garve, which was a nightmare. The next one was just 4 months later though to India, which was much better
