someone said it was very dangerous driving from miami to California, (san Diego) on specific roads, a lot of gangs on rest areas etc... specially around the texas area or areas close to Mexican borders...I've never driven that way so I don't know.

It's called "hijacking a post" as well. You really should pay attention to forum etiquite. About the only other sin you didn't commit was to post your website and post in capital letters. Go forth into this forum and sin no more.

But, OK - leave Miami, turn right when facing away from the ocean, when you reach jacksonville turn left, drive for a couple days, stop when you hit the pacific ocean.

If you take a wrong turn, stop and turn around when you see the Rio Grande River. If you want serious answers, start a new thread.

Question Info road San Diego-Miami

Hi guys, my name is Greg and I am from Italy.
I am thinking to take the road from San Diego to Miami at the end of december with my girlfriend and two friends.
Do you think that it is worth the money and the time?
I mean...is it a good experience in terms of view, weather, location to sleep, people to speak with, etc.
Is it dangerous during this time of the year?
I didn't find almost anything on internet, so if you have some suggestion...I will follow it to decide if it is better to take a flight.

I hope to hear from you soon, thanks guys.

Maime is very near to Florida,.It may be around 3000 miles from C.A.The are many means to go there ,but the best and safest road is via passing through Gulf Coast, deserts, cattle country etc.Even air travel is best but its a bit expensive travel.
