Where can I find the statistics of plane crashes in the USA for 2008? and where can I find the statistics for which airline that has the least and most crash incidents and death total.

Which state has the most plane crashes and why?

That information was just in our local newspaper this past week. In 2008, in the U.S., there had been no fatal plane crashes in the past 2 1/2 years up until the one that went down a few weeks ago in Buffalo, New York. I think there were 6 fatalities in the U.S. on private planes in '08, but didn't try and remember all the details of the article as I didn't know there would be a question on it. The most dangerous country for crashes and fatalities was by far Asia, with the U.S., and other western countries be the safest by a wide margin. I wish I could find the aritcle, but it was in the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Most info is on www.planecrashinfo.com or www.1001crash.com also is many EU and US sites with "airlines blacklist" -the airlines which is no technicaly safe. And there you can find oficial which can´t go any eu or USA airports or non oficial which is recomended as most potencial for forbiden. Is also good to know if you travel over world and plan your safe flight. Before was on that sites also statistic of crash dates, but is no any more....maybe that after have problem to sell tickets...??? I don´t know. I travel enough, but I always try plan my date seat and typ of airlines and plane. That is more % chance that will back home alive. Sorry for my wrong english.
