Did You Take A Trip This Spring Break?

Yep, we went to Puerto Rico. First time staying on the island and it was OK. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative, and traffic is terrible. We went there in order to see many of the attractions on the island, however found that required many hours in the car each day; not my idea of vacation. Still a pretty place and warm tropical air is great, but I would go to most anywhere else in the Caribbean again before returning to PR.

Next month is my second "spring break" trip; a long weekend at Cape Lookout National Seashore, NC circumnavigating Shackelford and South Core Banks by sea kayak!

I think we're going to do New Orleans in the winter...and if not New Orleans then Asheville, NC.
Our next trip in the summer will probably be Kansas City...not sure. lol.

I really want to go to Mexico but I think we'll hold off on that one til next year or so.
