The spirit of a mourning mother haunts Heceta Head, a 115-year-old lightstation on the windswept Oregon Coast. Some say the ghost, called The Gray Lady, searches for her infant daughter, who tumbled from the 200-foot cliffs to her death.

Oh, I just saw a show on haunted lighthouses - travel channel? I think this one was covered too.
I love these stories. And Ghost Hunters (I think) did one in England. That was really creapy.
I alway thought I wanted to live secluded in one.

Thanks, John.

My wife watches those and the St Augustine lighthouse show was the most interesting and believeable of any I have watched with her.

The lighthouse at Point Lookout in Southern MD is also supposed to be haunted. Actually, the entire park is haunted - a neat place to visit if you are ever in the area - especially for Civil War buffs.
