I love Paris the people are so warm and friendly contrary to popular belief and they do the most awsome freshly ground coffee.

Amsterdam. Very open and liberal. Very beautiful city. You can walk anywhere, great for biking. Great little coffee shop called "rookies".

The Netherlands. My daughter was stationed there for two years and I was able to visit twice. I loved Alkmaar, which is north of Amsterdam, but didn't care for Amsterdam itself. I thought it was way over-rated.

My daughter was in SE Holland, and I really enjoyed it there.

That's really a tough one!
I don't know if I could pick a favorite.
Really enjoyed Croatia last summer, but the food never *wowed* me the way it does in France or Italy. Montanegro was beautiful and unspoiled.
Then again, I love all of the UK.
It's no use, I can't choose.

Gosh I love it all. It's so great just having a Eurail pass and hopping on a train to anywhere!

I love Paris and France too. Italy holds a special place for me and I've been many many times. I also love Spain. And Ireland and UK (I visit London each Thanksgiving). I like Germany too - some how Germans are much nicer there than when you meet them other places in Europe!

Too hard to decide. But I really want to have dinner at Petrouchka in Paris on my 50th birthday. Russian restaurant with gypsy musicians -- and great caviar and vodka

Rapunzil, was your daughter at Soesterburg (CNA)? If so that was the best-kept secret in the USAF! I LOVED nearby Utrecht much better than Amsterdam!
