So hard to choose, all of them have something fantastic! But, I think I'll go with Texas,,, it has such a diverse landscape, a little of something for everyone.
Florida is my favorite state. I have lived there, and vacationed there since I was ten.
I've gone in the winters and in the hottest of summers.
I just love it anyhow.........
Love that it is always "green," that it is surrounded by water, and the style of the homes.
Having traveled from the panhandle to the gold coast........up and down and inbetween......
there is nothing I don't like about it. Well, barely anything at all.
So yes.........favorite of all the states........would be ...........Florida.
If I had to go in order....
Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Utah, Oregon, South Dakota.
I'm from CO and didn't always like it but it has grown on me and I think it would be tough to leave without leaving a void.

This question is like asking someone which is their favorite child! LOL Depending on the season, my favorite may be Virginia.. beautiful in Spring, New Hampshire in Summer...beautiful beaches and mountains, Michigan in Fall...the foliage and the dunes, breathtaking. South Carolina in Winter...warm enough to keep you comfortable yet with a distinct change of season.
Who can resist California, especially Yosemite, Big Sur and the wine region? How about Louisiana with its exotic culture, food and music? Florida's costal shell beaches and relaxed living! I am fortunate enough to be able to travel this great big beautiful country and I don't think I could ever pick just one state to say it is my favorite. How lucky we are to have such a diverse and beautiful country.
I love the peace and quiet of New Mexico, but it is also my most recent home. Before NM, it was Texas and before that it was California. Years ago it was Hawaii, Maryland, and DC.
I am going to the Grand Canyon this summer. Maybe it will be Arizona in August!
