Florida. I've been here 25 years, and would never move out of state.

Kentucky, with Tennessee and Virginia a close second and third. Also I like Missouri (Ozarks best), North and South Carolina (Boone and Blowing Rock, Cherokee, Nags Head, and Myrtle Beach especially) and anywhere in Montana or Idaho or Wyoming.

My favorite state is Florida. Nothing beats going sailing during Christmas break.
Nice choice. I sure hope Florida weather this winter beats last winter!

This might surprise some people that thing Indiana is nothing but flat land, prairies and cornfields, the southern third of Indiana, especially part west and northwest of Louisville, and the part southwest of Indianapolis, especially around Brown County and Bloomington, is darn pretty, especially in Spring and Fall. The part of Indiana up near Kendallville and Shipshawana near Michigan and Fort Wayne is beautiful, but quaint Amish country.

Default Hands down

I have been to easily 40+ of the 50 states. Michigan, Connecticut, New Hampshire, east coast Georgia, Carolina mountains are all beautiful.

Hands down, the best place on earf is Maine. I am sorry but Maine should be anyone's answer. If not, its because they have not visited. The photos everyone have seen in magazines or commercials are not exaggerated. If anything, the views are better in person...truly breathtaking. Luckily, we can visit all the time. The visit is cheap because we normally just sit quietly and watch because the beauty does all the talking. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to visit Maine. Your opinion will change, I promise!
