I've been to every state but AK, HI, UT, and NV, and my favorite is Louisiana.

Hawaii trumps California everyday of the week. Its quiet and laid back(aside from Honolulu), has some of the best air quality and weather in the entire world, friendly people, and a feeling of going back in time.

Maine is my favorite It's a beautiful state with a lovely coastline. I enjoy the 4 seasons, they are equally special in their own way with something fun in each one. I must admit, as much as I love the beauty of winter I am very ready for spring and the warmer weather
