Parts of Florida are beautiful - but the heat and humidity is ungodly...how do people stand it there?

I've almost always lived on the beach so you get a constant breeze and the humidity level is lower than anywhere on the east coast just about. We run 98% humidity often here in TN, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and the Carolinas are bad too. Most days Florida is better. Visit Mississippi or Texas....thats humid.

I may have already answered this but cant really narrow it down to just 'one' state. As far as a state to live in, would probably say either GA, OK or WI. Other than that, I love the deep south and miss Calif.

A coworker told me you'll know you're in Arkansas when you're in Arkansas.

I can't pick a favorite. Wyoming, Minnesota and South Dakota are near the top. California, Illinois, and Louisiana are near the bottom.

Every state has something beautiful, but I have to go with the Pacific Coast Highway as the most beautiful place I've ever seen, so therefore, CA.

I went on the PCH a few years ago while on business in CA. That is a pretty sweet drive. Isn't that also the site where Sammy Hagar came up w/ the song "I Can't Drive 55"?
