How many people are going? Adults or children? What do you intend to do-go to the beach all day or take tours? Eat out or make some of your own meals? Upper-scale dining or street food? More information. please!
How much money to bring? You mean cash? What you don't have credit cards or ATM cards? You don't bring hard currency on a vacation unless you are going to a very remote area, period.
Strange question, but Bali is a relatively cheap destination. There have been some threads here on the destination, do some searches.
Second the last opinion: Take a ATM card and make withdrawls in the local currency.
Take USD $25 per person for the Indonesian Visa On Arrival Fee (if you are US citizens). Maybe make it $50 per person to be safe and have a little reserve.
