Hi all,

I've been looking for a decent restaurant in the tri cities that is dedicated or atleast has some good healthy choices. What i mean by healthy is things like not breaded, fried, use of healthy oils, whole grain(real whole grain) bread, steaks that arent giant 7 oz and up portions, veggies cooked without butter, blah blah. Seems like everything here is american, americanized asian food, or mexican food. The healthiest place i've found here to get a good healthy meal is to have sushi at Sakura or Preferably Sushi Ya

Stone Soup in the Parkade area of Richland is pretty good, Atomic Ale has some good pizza and such and good beer, India Palace on Columbia Center Blvd is good, reasonably authentic Indian food.

You are right, this is not a big healthy-eating mecca.

I frequently just microwave some veggies for a good healthy meal at home. You don't have to work for hours or make a big elaborate mess to cook for yourself. A microwave, a crock pot, and a small 2-burner cook top are enough even if you don't have a proper kitchen.
