J_K_K,

Very curious as to the results of your "tour". When do you plan to go? I'm waiting with bated breath to find out what happens. ;-)

I keep forgetting. I know I'm letting down inquiring minds, which is a terrible shame after starting up the thread. Let's see, what's the itinerary of Tri-City dangers and terrors:

Kennewick:

Tesoro at 395 and 27th. Like California!
Columbia Drive, full length
Gum between 1st and 10th.

East Pasco

East A, just west of Oregon Ave.
Ainsworth just east of Oregon Ave.
East of 10th south of A.

West Pasco (I can die on the way to Richland this way)

Chiawana Park

Richland

Swift and Thayer
Uptown in wee hours (if I don't suffer from apathy first)

Any to add?

Almost a year now since your last post. Are we to assume that your walkabout did not turn out good? Did you find an actual "bad area" in the Tri-Cities? The place where people enter but never come out? Hopefully not...

If you really want to gain perspective of Kennewick you should consider attending a citizens police academy usually offered once a year. The single most important takeaway I gained from the class is how much our police department really cares about their community and the citizens they serve.
