Since Mr. Lemely has proven either incompetent or a political climber by his lack of leadership as City Council over sight of the Planning Commission, and his support for the Councils decision to accept of the Hayden Holmes Clear Water Creek Plat approval, and maintaining the Rachel rd extension over the Amen Creek preserver in the Ten Year development plan. Knowing the following key facts why would anyone vote for Lemly even if he is unopposed?
He:
Supported the Clear Water Plat that has Low income lots next a rail track 30 feet above the level of the lot and others next the largest Electrical Power distribution complex in the City. No where else is this done in Richland. it is an embarrassment that quote "these lots are for low income people like policemen and teacher".

Supporter a Plat the used PUD, KID right of ways and a middle school play areas to meet open space requirements.

Supported a plat that puts a Kennewick School in the Middle of the plat along the future extension of Raychel rd. An action that makes the extension a 25 mph zone defeating the reason stated by the city for the extension, that is Raychel rd will be a inter corridor road --- 35 or 45mph. Just stupid city planners..

Not supporting the Planning Commissions recommendation of a citizen/city council working meeting to discus proposed alternatives to the Rachel Rd extension.

Never once speaking out or asking question on any of the above subjects during public meetings.

So why vote for a proven non-leader?

The City of Richland is a product of this lousy type of leadership. You reap what you sow. Build a Winco on a prime piece of golf course real estate. Brilliant.

When Walla Walla - a town half your size - outshines you in virtually every way/shape/form, well, that tells you about everything you need to know.

Don't worry Richland! Your elected city officials will work hard to ensure that wedding floral arrangements are only sold to like-minded (i.e. backward) individuals....

Well we have only one or two choices with Lemley. Write in or no one vote for him. He and the city manager and mayor are and embarrassment.
