Benton, Franklin and Yakima counties are exploding with new Corona cases. Yet I still see many not wearing masks. If we want to get business going again this area needs to take this more seriously. Not proud of my area tonight.

You know, as a nuclear worker with decades of experience, I have long appreciated the benefits of proper PPE, properly used. I don't see any political point here. Biological hazards, like radioactive ones, don't play party favorites.

Been wearing a mask and social distancing since these were announced as needed.

Agree. Smarten up, dumb people!

Benton/Franklin still is in Phase 1. We have to change this to get business going again. Masks, YES. Social Distancing, YES. I still see many who are not practicing these basic mandates. Don't get me wrong, I don't like government telling us what to do, but in this case the business of our area depends on it. Defy and all of us will lose. We live in a liberal State and while some may not like it, we must play by the rules in this trying time, for our best interests.

Breaking...Benton and Franklin counties will move to phase 1.5 meaning limited retail activity. Baby steps. Put on your masks if you want our area to get back to normal.

I still see a small percentage of people not wearing face masks which makes me wonder if they're taking the virus seriously or if they have a medical condition to where they're not able to wear a mask.
