I'll be making a move up to the Tri-cities area in early April. I don't have housing lined up yet, and since I'm taking some trips prior to the new job starting I was planning on staying in a weekly motel, none of which I've found any info on browsing through websites. Currently I got Paragon corporate housing lined up, but I'd rather find something cheaper if finding a rental is as difficult as the rep for Paragon's told me. What are my options here? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are looking for one of the extended stay hotel chains (full kitchen, including oven, etc) like you see all over the place in other areas, you won't find many here for some reason. There are only 2 that I know of.

There is a Days Inn in Kennewick that has kitchenette rooms.

I go past a place called Haney's Inn at the corner of 240 and Stevens every day that advertises longer term rentals. I have no idea of the quality of the place, it doesn't look like a top of the line hotel from the outside, but you might try looking them up.

When we first moved here for Hanford back in August, we stayed at International Guesthouse on Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick. They have weekly rates, very large studio feeling rooms with leather sofa, 2 queens and a kitchenette sans a stove. They were relatively cheap, and are quite nice for a short stay. I think we were there for three weeks, and it was plenty of space for us in the interim.
