These custody battle stories are so tragic and I think all of society feels so helpless on what to do to remedy these situations.
To do acts as this one, your a Monster, a beast, a non compassionate Human Being, you are not. In these instances, why prolong anything, i say death penalty right now, never mind, they are on death row for over 20 years eating, and sleeping, and breathing, do it now, and get it over with! So tragic these here stories, and they continue, why! if these monsters are punished immediately, maybe just maybe they would think twice before taking the life of a innocent child.

Well, you're talking about someone who tried to commit suicide anyway after the murders, and who committed them in a state which already had the death penalty.
Some crimes are not driven by actual contemplation, and can't be prevented by after-the-fact punishments, especially when the perpetrator expects to die in the act.

More citizens could agree on abolishing the Death Penalty...if a Life Sentence unequivocally meant, and resulted in, Life in prison.

In Texas there is a 90% chance he will get death for killing children.. Probably really a 99.9 % chance...
