Well done! and hopefully, the evidence was taken care of appropriately - chain of evidence process, I understand is important.

Hey there GBH - I am surprised that there are no additional comments yet about this thread....in all seriousness, however, I truly hope she is not charged with anything at all - good for her for defending herself....

Dude!!! Holy crap!!

That is awesome!!!! I would do that if anyone tried to rape me! In fact, this is what I think the justice system should do to rapists (with overwhelming evidence)!!

Of course I'll be accused of "manhating" but I'm NOT a manhater. I just think that rapists (who are mostly men) should be castrated.

GloryB, I agree with you - I would also betcha [smile] that somehow this attacker would decide he was a victim and ask that she be charged with assault - could you imagine that happening - actually, I think I could -- not so sure if a prosecutor would go along with that charge [would hate to think so]...sometimes, however, I do question the wisdom of the system. I would, I must say, be pretty irate if that happened....

Good for her for protecting herself ... perhaps that might be cause for someone else to rethink a possible assault? .....

How would the women rapists be taken care of? Serious question, and I can agree with what you were saying about what to do with the men who have overwhelming evidence, not 99% proof but 100%.

Do you think that if these men were castrated it would stop them from raping others?...there's more than one way to rape you know.
