My wife has never backed down from thinking that Goodman hired someone to play a game (serious game) and it got messed up. She didn't get to see any of the trial, as I did, saw it all, but she never thought that OJ did it. She still curses roundly when the name of Goodman comes up.
I was not convinced either way with OJ but I got at least as mad as my wife did with what the Goodmans managed to do to OJ.
I have little use for the Goldmans, either. But what motive do you think they could have for hiring someone to play a game with OJ?
When a mother tells you her child is missing, decent people will come to help when asked.
When the decent people spend $112,000 and then find out the child was dead all along and the mother knew it, the decent people should be given their money back so they can help other decent people who really do have a missing child.
I found it interesting that a few days after the verdict, the Orange County Police Dept has slapped Casey with a judgement for $500,000 for looking for a dead child.
You can't just "slap a judgement" on someone. It has to go through the court system first.
I think with OJ, it was kinda interesting if you look from a broad view of what happened. When you do an evil deed, you're really doing it to yourself. You're hurting yourself ultimately. It's so simple and basic, but maybe in our seemingly sophisticated world, it's forgotten...
I heard Tim Miller the founder of Texas Equisearch being interviewed just a few minutes ago and learned that his group will get even with the Anthonys one way or another. It seems that the group takes part in searches all over the world and they were asked by Cindy Anthony to look for Caley. He says they were within 5 feet of that body but didn't find it. He says that Cindy had been very thankful for their search. Now for the kicker.
By God, if that jury or the defendant's peers doesn't convict we can go to civil suit. They managed to break O. J. with that civil suit after the jury failed to do anything about him. They took every worldly thing he owned other than the clothes on his back and that was supposed to make it all better. CASEY ANTHONY WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY BY THAT JURY OF HER PEERS. When will all those who don't like the verdict ease off and admit that once again our system worked very well but those 12 people didn't get even. Yes, get even, because a prosecutor failed to put up enough real evidence to convict. The system worked just as it is supposed to do and all those people who have been taken in by the media just can't handle the outcome.
It will be very interesting to see if Miller and his group manage to get even with Casey or her mother. I don't blame them for being very unhappy since many of them took time off from work to go to Florida and search for the body of Caley. I wonder if they will manage to convince lawmakers that they must change the laws so that "the guilty" although not convicted will have to suffer, anyway.
I think the girl is guilty as hell but I also support our legal system. Lets get it on. This controversy should bring lots of discussion from both sides of the political groups.
Not really. Why do you think OJ moved to FL? If he stayed in CA they would have taken everything.
He also was banned from several LA country clubs.
He moved to FL where they can't take your house regardless of what you do(excluding not paying the mortgage and taxes), and he protected his assets until he like all sociopaths got in trouble again.
He was living quite well in FL with a house and assets that were protected under FL law, why do you think so many criminals end up in FL?
You can drive drunk in FL kill four people and you won't lose your house.
He hightailed it out of CA after the civil suit for a reason.
I learnt that if you have money for a good lawyer you can get away with murder and a lot of other crimes.
Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton. they all have money and commit crimes and get off because they can afford lawyers who are connected. don't think for a minute that these criminals don't pay people off.
all the stuff lindsey does a non celeb that was not wealthy would be doing time an not capable of comiting the rest of the crimes she has so far. Paris getting a pinch on the wrist for drugs in vegaas. come on there are girls that get arrested for the first time for prostitution with a clean slate and have to do do time or have bigger fines.
