IF she was not offered money to talk on TV or pen a tell all about this she would not bother. SO if she really wanted to help others with her story she and her mother should not have shopped to get the biggist bidder for her tv telll all and her book . A normal mother would not Prostitute her daughters story about her rape to make money and to help others. she would respect daughters past an let her heal and MOVE ON and stop dwelling in her past pain. Get her help and a education so she could find a real job. BTW the money she made from all this is not going to last long so she best get a education and a REAL JOB for the REAL WORLD! I am sure she is suing the Police dept. that i understand. Sure she is getting other funds from the government and their was also a Jaycee foundation set up to help her. No need to try an become a celebrity millonaire flaunting your rape for $$$

I dont blame the girl its her mother who is money hungry and several press have said it how gready she has become HUSTLING her daughters story. Since this girl is very nieve sure mommy dearest is going t dip into her daughters piggy bank. Fact she is already trying to sell her story how many books do we need about one persons rape.
Have you ever been raped? If not DO NOT presume to tell anyone who has how do deal with it m'kay?

So, are you admitting you are not smarter than a 5th grader?

Although her formal education ended at 5th grade, the rest of her "education" apparently came through watching TV and being exposed to the world that way. Jaycee learned how to use a computer eventually and helped to run the printing business so she did not live in a total vacuum.

Regardless, I don't think she went willingly with those crazy people. Or wanted to be raped by that crazy man. What she did to survive, is not anything that someone who has not been in a situation like that can quarterback on what she should have or could have done. And if writing her memoirs of that experience was a catharsis, more power to Jaycee and her family.

There is no amount of money abyone could pay me to live through an experience like that, or, God forbid, my daughter.
